TENUTE DI BATTISTA Joins the Dialogue on Rural Innovation in Puglia
On September 26, 2026, during the Fiera del Levante in Bari, TENUTE DI BATTISTA participated in Hub Puglia – Retaining Talent, Attracting Investment, an initiative promoted by the Puglia Regional Government.
The project, presented by Remo Di Battista, was featured in Room 5 – Investment Attraction and Major Projects, under the proposal:
“A rural innovation hub to attract talent and investment.”
A New Vision for Agriculture
TENUTE DI BATTISTA aims to develop an innovative model integrating agriculture, scientific research, intelligent technologies and environmental sustainability.
The project envisions the establishment of a Rural Living Lab, designed as an experimental environment for developing technological and biological solutions for agriculture.
The main areas of development include:
TDB GRID-100 and Agri System
Modular systems currently in the design phase, intended to support olive grove monitoring, intelligent water resource management, crop protection and the integration of sensors and data analytics.
TDB BioLab
A biological research laboratory, currently at the planning stage, dedicated to studying interactions between soil, plants, water and climate change, with particular attention to the sustainable use of natural resources and agricultural by-products.
Living Lab and Territorial Development
A model designed to combine rural heritage restoration, applied research, education and collaboration with institutions, universities and businesses.
From Puglia Towards a European Perspective
Participation in Hub Puglia represents a significant milestone in the development of TENUTE DI BATTISTA.
The objective is to progressively build an innovation ecosystem capable of creating new opportunities for the region and contributing to the sustainable transformation of the agri-food sector.
