TENUTE DI BATTISTA is included in the HUB Puglia 2026 analysis report, published following the Fiera del Levante in Bari.
A new step in the development of an integrated model of agricultural innovation that combines scientific research, artificial intelligence, smart water management, and field experimentation.
From the Fiera del Levante to the HUB Puglia Report
On September 26, 2026, TENUTE DI BATTISTA participated in the HUB Puglia initiative – "Retaining talent, attracting investment," promoted by the Puglia Region as part of the Fiera del Levante.
The project, presented by its promoter Remo Di Battista, was included in Room 5 – Attraction of investments and major projects, with the speech:
"A rural innovation hub to attract talent and investment."
The initiative represented an important opportunity for discussion between businesses, universities, research centers, startups, and institutions.
The TDB project in the official Report
In the HUB Puglia 2026 analysis report, the contribution of TENUTE DI BATTISTA is explicitly mentioned in the section dedicated to Room 5.
The document describes the proposal as an agricultural Living Lab open to universities and other hubs, where agriculture, research, sensor technology, and artificial intelligence can operate within the same experimental environment.
Particular attention is paid to water management, identified as one of the main challenges for the future of agriculture.
The report also highlights a central element of the TDB vision: creating a shared physical space where skills, infrastructure, and research activities can be concentrated.
The presence in the report represents a significant achievement in institutional visibility, although it does not constitute formal endorsement or a funding commitment by the Puglia Region.
Agriculture capable of anticipating climate change
The philosophy of TENUTE DI BATTISTA stems from the need to rethink agricultural models to face increasingly unpredictable climatic conditions.
Prolonged droughts, intense rainfall, extreme temperatures, and disturbances to biological balances require new prevention and adaptation strategies.
The project proposes an integrated technological and scientific ecosystem, aimed at monitoring, preventing, and managing environmental risks before they turn into emergencies.
The main lines of development
TDB BioAdaptive GRID
Modular systems for environmental monitoring, smart irrigation, crop protection, and integrated agricultural resource management.
TDB BioLab
Applied biological research, soil study, climate adaptation, and experimentation with innovative solutions.
TDB Agri System
Development of technologies and services for farms, cooperatives, and agri-food supply chains.
Smart water management
Systems for harvesting, storage, recovery, and distribution of water resources, to be developed and validated through field experiments.
The various components are currently being designed and require subsequent development, scientific validation, and specialized collaboration activities.
The Living Lab: a bridge between research and business
Among the main results emerging from HUB Puglia is the need to overcome the fragmentation of initiatives and promote permanent innovation infrastructure.
The Report also highlights the value of physical laboratories as a link between scientific research, prototyping, and business development.
This approach is consistent with the vision of TENUTE DI BATTISTA.
The future Living Lab is conceived as an environment open to collaboration between universities, research bodies, professionals, businesses, and institutions.
A place where prototypes can be developed, data collected, multi-year experiments conducted, and the effectiveness of proposed technologies concretely verified.
From design to implementation
Participation in HUB Puglia represents a milestone in the development path of TENUTE DI BATTISTA.
The next priorities include:
- Identification of a location and land suitable for experimentation.
- Definition of collaborations with universities and research centers.
- Development and validation of technological prototypes.
- Structuring of the multi-year research program.
- Identification of public and private funding instruments.
- Building of scientific and industrial partnerships.
The goal is to develop an agricultural innovation infrastructure in Puglia capable of generating knowledge, attracting skills, and fostering new economic and employment opportunities.
Building the future of agriculture together
TENUTE DI BATTISTA is open to discussions with universities, research centers, engineers, biologists, agronomists, technology companies, agricultural cooperatives, and potential investors interested in the development of the project.
The transition toward more resilient agriculture requires interdisciplinary skills, investments, experimentation, and a long-term vision.
The future of agriculture should not only be predicted. It must be designed.
TENUTE DI BATTISTA
Research, innovation, and resilience for the agriculture of tomorrow.
